About
Weapon Evolution:
Weapons under the evolution status can now be equipped without the regard of the weapon's required level, so even if you are below level 160 for Vicious Mind weapons you can still equip them.
Weapon Evolution can be activated by either using the skill "Weapon Evolution" in your ETC Skill Tree or visiting the NPC Master of Evolutions in the Main Office.
You can activate the Evolution status on any weapon that is within the evolution table of each weapon type.
Upon activation every card and refine will get deleted and the weapon gets bound to character.
You can now see the status of your weapon evolution including the bonuses for having a weapon under the evolution status.
You cannot refine or card the item anymore until that status is removed.
At any given point you can stop an evolution if you prefer another weapon from the evolution table rather than the last weapon.
You can start the evolution at any given point inside the evolution table incase you just want an easier way for a certain weapon.
How to earn Evolution EXP?
You can earn Evolution EXP simply by killing monsters. There is no difference between killing the monster with a normal attack or skill.
Evolution 1-6 require each 1000 monster kills or a rare chance of 0.5% to instantly make it 100% status. Evolution 7 requires 5000 monster kills and a rare chance of 0.5% to instantly gain 10% extra.
Note:
MVP Monsters count on any level aswell as giving you a worth of 10 monster kills at once.
Evolution FAQ
How do I start evolving my weapon?
Simply use the skill called "Weapon Evolution" found under the tab ETC in your Skill Tree and equip the weapon. Choose "Start Evolution".
How do I evolve my weapon when it reached 100%?
Simply use the skill called "Weapon Evolution" found under the tab ETC in your Skill Tree and choose "Evolve Weapon".
I like a weapon in the middle of the evolution table more. Not the end.
Then you can cancel the evolution progress by choosing "Stop Evolution" at any point you want.
I cant refine my weapon or card it DURING evolution, can i afterwards?
When you reached the weapon you want and the evolution progress has stopped ( the enchants are gone ) the weapon is a normal weapon now and can be carded / refined.
How many kills do I need?
Depending on what you evolve but everything except category nr 7 requires 1000 kills or a 0.5% chance for instant 100%.
Category Nr 7 requires 5000 kills.
Why does Vicious Mind require so many kills? Is it different?
Yes, Vicious mind requires more kills because it gives 3 random enchants.
Is there any other requirement for evolving?
Only category 7 requires 1m zeny.
Is it useful to start early or can I start anywhere?
You can start at any point inside that table. It is more beneficial to start earlier though.
Why is it beneficial to start early?
When reaching evolution nr 6 and going towards nr 7 you gain 10% progress per previous evolution.
Can I use 2 daggers as assassin?
Yes, Ninja and Assassin gain EXP on two evolution weapons at the same time if they wish for that.
Why didn't I get the weapon I wanted?
Every stage of the evolution table is random.
Enchant List for Vicious Mind
Any Vicious Mind weapon automatically gains 3 random enchants from the weapon evolution.

Evolution Status
Evolution Status:
You can gain EXP % for the weapon by defeating monsters. Or have it instantly be 100% evolution status by chance.
1000 Kills = 100% or a 0.5% chance for it to be 100% instantly.
Evolution EXP Bonus:
This EXP bonus is applied on all races. It does not require a certain monster, race or anything.
- Evolution Stat Bonus
Increases all stats by +1.
- Evolution ATK/MATK Bonus
Increases your ATK and MATK by 20
