In Shining Moon we have some special features including:
Pre-Renewal & Renewal Combination Server
This feature allows you to switch between Pre-Renewal and Renewal through a World Gate, both use their own characters, items / monsters.
You will be in same guild in either of the two, same with party.
You can switch between the two as many times / often as you want without any cooldown / waiting time.
Players choice exp rates
When you make a character you get prompted upon doing the newbie area if you want to change your rates.
At any point after that you can still change them by typing @baserate or @jobrate 1-30.
Once you have chosen your exp rate it stays that way until changed.
Being in a party with another person with another rate chosen does not affect your exp. You will still get exp based on your own rate, no matter who kills the monster.
However, if you are going for a certain launch event, and you change your rates once from the rates designated for the event, it will count as not completed.
Example: Reach base level 99 with 5x exp, and you switch your exp once to 10x it will never count even if you go back to 5x.
A new account made on a computer with an unique hardware ID can get freebies when they create their first character ever.
Some of the items you will get includes:

Every character after that gets:
Call Storage is a skill that is unlocked by using 100 Kafra Cards at the NPC Storage Master inside Main Office (@go office). This skill is an accountwide skill, once unlocked by one char it's usable by all other characters on that account. Aswell as future chracters.
Once learned you can find it in your ETC tab in your skilltree. You can also access it by typing @storage/@storage1-5.
Every account has 5 basic storages. Each storage contains a limit of 600.
You can rename the storages in the Main Office.
Every 1 hour that you are online you get 2 cashpoints.
Every 2 hours that you are online you get 1 Moonlight Coin.
Note 1: The hours you're online count upwards. You are online 1 hour today and 1 tomorrow = 2 hours total.
Note 2: Venders are a special case, they're inside the hourly counting table but differently counted and rewarded.
-- Vendors get 1 coin every 12 hours.
Note 3: Relogging or disconnecting resets the timer.
Note 4: This has no limitation to IP or Computer.
Any monster killed thats +- 20 of your own level.( except MVP slaves, mini boss slaves or any kind of slave ),
Example: You are lvl 50. Any monster between lvl 30-70 have a chance to contain a world drop.

Note: These drops have no level requirement, meaning a lvl 1 novice can find them.
Note 2: These items are added instantly into the inventory.
Note 3: All these items are not bound, they can be traded / storaged / guild storaged and so on.
Once the total amount of monsters killed on the server have reached 500,000 and 12 hours of cooldown period have passed the system will automatically summon a random world boss.
There is an NPC in @go 0 that shows the current amount of overall kills and if there is any time left on the cooldown, otherwise it will allow you to warp to the world boss map.
These bosses do not drop items in a normal fashioned way, but instead will reward the player with a World Boss Box based on their damage rank sent instantly to your mail.
There is no limitation as to how many players may receive a reward so even 1 damage makes you eligible. However if the boss is not killed, you'll not receive any reward at all.
Note: There is no level / class / party / guild requirement to participate in this.
Lucky 3 Slotmachine
Here in Shining Moon we have a Refine UI.
When you doubleclick on or found in your consumable tab in your inventory (alt+e) it will bring up the refine UI for you.
You can use Emperium, Enchant Catalyst in there too.
You may aswell enchant your Custom Costume or reset the enchant.
When you first create a char and login for the first time you will recieve a Level Box in your inventory.
Once you reach a specific level being 1, 50, 75 and 99 you can open the box to gain items to help you in your adventures.
Once a box is opened you will automatically gain the next one, which can then be opened when you reach next required level.
You will gain items such as:

Original & Custom Instances
You can do original and custom Instances for Weekly Quest. You have until Monday 00.00 server time to finish 3 memorial dungeons and hand in at the Instance Manager and he will reward you with Costume Treasure, which contains a random costume headgear, at 00.01 it will reset.
And for doing certain dungeons you get Instance Points, which you can turn in for items.
Note: It doesn't matter if you are the healer or the killer, you will get the points.
- As a baby char, normally you had certain limitations and penalties, these have been reworked and you can now equip gear that you normally couldn't. For example, a baby Baby couldn't wear Diabolus Robe because of the "Transcended Status". As-long as it matches your gender, class and level you can equip it.
- There is no longer a penalty to HP/SP. Every Baby Class have the 25% transcended HP/SP automatically.
- You can equip any transcended equipment.
- You will have the the same status points as the "adult" version. e.g. 99 max in a stat.
- You will have the same skill points as the "adult" version.
- You will have the transcended skills for your class, e.g. Assumptio for baby Priest.
- Baby chars can purchase a secondary class, just like others. You can also make that a normal char, and if you are adopted, not gone through @babyme or the job changer, the secondary class, even "adult", will be adopted.
- Baby chars has no penalties to stats e.g. ATK, FLEE, HIT.
- Baby chars can purchase alternative outfits, just like normal chars.
- Babies have no penalty towards crafting.
- Baby classes are considered size small in pvp.
We have Battlegrounds for those hardcore PvP'ers.
Some of the custom battlegrounds we have are Bossnia (Alterac Valley style from WoW) and Eye of the Storm also based on WoW.
Monster Hunter where you can turn in the Monster Hunter Coins you earned from completing Monster Hunter achievements for rewards.
In-game we have a feature called Daily Rewards, everyday you can cross one day off of the ingame calendar where you can claim items after 30 minutes online.
There are some nice items you can get such as:

You can collect your daily reward 30 minutes after you have logged in. However you cannot collect it more than once. After 30 minutes you'll receive a notification that you can collect your reward now!
Type @go office and visit the Special Reward Officer now.
Here in Shining Moon you can enjoy a brand new custom feature called Class Change.
When you reach level 99, baby and non baby you can purcase a secondary class and level it just like your main class.
You can then use Class Mastery Book to switch between them depending on what it is you want to do. But there is a 4 second cast and it is interruptible.
For example you could go High Priest for those parties you want to be a part of to support your fellow partymembers, and if you feel like farming zeny you could always take High Wizard as your secondary class.
And if you are adopted on your main class, you will be adopted on your secondary aswell.
The Soul System is about monster souls.
You have a 1.5% chance to seal the soul of a monster into a crystal when killing the monster.
Only monsters within a +15/-15 level range works for this.
Or you can craft them using Soul Shards with the Soul Forge Skill
You can carry at most 50 souls with you at any point.
Master of Souls in Main Office
Master of Souls lets you lock and unlock a monster soul, which means that if you do not wish your monster soul to be overwritten you need to lock it. Unlocking it lets it be overwritten by another monster soul.
The soul system is aswell based on 8 different skills.
Release the captured Monsters soul and merge it with your own while taking control of its power.
Increase All Stats based on the amount of Sealed Souls in your inventory, however +3 to All Stats is the maximum you can get.
Example, every 5 Sealed Souls will give you +1 to All Stats.
Active Skill - Materialize the captured monster soul and have it fight for you.
This will summon an aggressive monster of your saved monster ID and fight with you for x minutes.
Deletes x number of souls depending on skill lvl used (Unless you have Soul Mastery)
Note:Level 3 ALWAYS deletes 3 souls, even WITH Soul Mastery.
Acive Skill - Deletes three Sealed Souls from your inventory to either summon a MvP or have Chronos summon you to his realm.
Soul Mastery does NOT protect your souls from being deleted after using this skill.
This skill has a 12 hours cooldown.
Active Skill - Deals 10 * ( ATK + MATK * Skill_LV ) miscellaneous soul element damage to all enemies within 23x23 radius Requirement: 1 Sealed Soul * Skill Lvl (cost is halved with Soul Mastery) Note 1: Does not work against players. Note 2: Monsters cannot dodge this skill.
Active Skill - Deals 1 * ( ATK + MATK ) miscellaneous soul element damage to a monster. Has a 25% chance to create a Soul Shard Note 1: Does not work against players.
Supportive Skill - Consumes 5 Soul Shards to create 1x Sealed Soul. 30% chance + 2% * Soul Mastery LV
Active Skill - Summons your Soul Storaged IDs as monsters. Summons at most all 3 different saved IDs. These summoned monsters will not be following you nor teleport with you. They contain no EXP or drops. These monsters will attack other monsters but their damage does not count as your own damage. If the monsters have any supportive skills they will cast them on you as they're friendly monsters. Requirement: 5 Sealed Souls Note 1: These monsters will disappear after 3 minutes.
Passive Skill - Feature 1: You will not consume any Sealed Souls when using Materialize Soul Lvl 1 or 2.
Feature 2: Increases the chance to synthesize a Sealed Soul using Soul Forge by 2% per Mastery lvl.
Feature 3: Reduces the cost of Soul Pulse by half.
Feature 4: At level 10 grants a chance to have monsters drop a Soul Mastery Scroll on kill.
In Shining Moon you have a Spiritual Energy bar that fills by 1% every time you kill a monster, 5% from MvP's. Once it is filled to 100% you type @release, or use the skill in your skilltree and chose to activate it, it will deplete the bar and give you certain buffs.
The buffs you get are the following:
Blessing LV 10
Agility UP LV 10
By chance: to gain +1 Moonlight Coin (25% chance)
If you type @release at any point it will give you a menu where you can chose to activate it, read information about it, and disable the bar completely so it won't be shown.
We have a warper in every town that can take you to any level dungeon or any field you so desire. It can aswell send you to any guild dungeon without you actually having to be in a guild.
We also have an option called "Special Areas" where you can go to the Styling Room and try out costumes to see what you would like to wear. In special areas we also have Eden Headquarters, but you could aswell just type @go eden to go there.
In the option "Guild Castles" you find every guild castle that exists. In the option "Guild Dungeons" you can find every guild dungeon for your convinience.
The command @warp was recently added, so if you want to get back to a place fast you could type in your chat @warp pay_fild01 for example and it warps you to the same xy positions the Warper does.
Everything has been added to this command, fields, towns and dungeons.
Instance Manager & Weekly Quest
We have a special NPC in Fortessa and Prontera called Instance Manager, which can create and teleport you to any instance there is, with exception for Society Raid and Dark Society.
You can aswell use the Instance Manager below your Basic Information window, just press the arrow button to unfold it.
Both are custom dungeons and are only accessible through the NPC Adventurer Balin.
We also have something called Weekly Quest which requires you to finish 5 memorial dungeons in a week and hand it in to Instance Manager before 00.00 on monday (as it resets at 00.01).
Once the quest is finished and handed in he will give you a Costume Treasure which contains a random custom headgear.
