Robino981 28 Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) Heya, here's Arun, I thought I'll make a SR guide because the last one is now older than a year. Soul Reaper is my main class besides Sura and like Sura very versatile. It has high survivability while doing good damage. It is a Magic Class tho, so equipment will get expensive for some parts. If you're starting out on SMRO, I can't recommend playing SR, because it requires much gear before it gets strong for Endgame stuff. But with the right Gear, you can solo nearly everything.It's also awesome for Fortessa Pit, because SR can't get dispelled by Griefs. Stats and Skills: Spoiler Stats should be covered as followed: Spoiler STR: Depends on you, you only need STR for Weight Limit AGI: You want to reach 193 ASPD, SR depends purely on ASPD and doesn't need ACD Vit: Depends, again, on you - you want at least 100 with bonus, for stun immunity Int: Now we're talking, this is the MAIN stat of SR, increasing this will increase your damage you want at least 120 but dont spend too much, 120 - 130 is very expensive Dex: 120, for Temporal Dex Boots, nothing more to see here Luk: This for my part is a filler, if i have points to give after statting every other stat, I put em in Luk, because a bit Perfect Dodge and extra Matk doesn't hurt Important Skills: Spoiler Espa This is your main damage skill, it's single target and requires nothing more than having SP. Eswhoo This is your AoE attack, it's a "combo skill" that must be used after Espa in this case to be used at all, it consumed 1 soul. Soul Collect Now comes the "Soul System", a good friend and your worst enemy, this skill is one of the 2 ways to get souls. At level 5 you get 1 soul every 20 seconds. Soul Reap This is the skill thats the reason for the "Soul System" for being your best friend as well as worst enemy, every attack, no matter physical or magic, has a 35% chance to give you a soul. You need 2 Souls to use this Skill and the duration is 210 seconds. Its cooldown is nearly as long and will only be reduced by Soul Reaper Shadow Shoes. So when you die, you first need to activate Soul Collect, then wait 40 seconds to have 2 souls and hope that the cooldown is over. Kaahi A Soul Linker skill, that was strong in my eyes since I first played Soul Linker. Depending on what skilllevel you choose. It heals you for a fixed amount for every enemy attack, no matter if it hits or not. Kaizel Kaahi and Kaizel, a package way to strong for one class. Kaizel is a buff, that resurrects you when you die, instantly. Kaupe One of my favourites - It dodges the next attack that would hit you. It even dodges magic. Dodging cancels the buff, but it's only triggered if you dodge an attack that would've hit after bypassing your flee.Tumbling A buff, that doesn't cancel, except you relog. It gives a passive 20% chance to dodge long range attacks. Mild Wind This skill is the reason why Taekwon Classes are versatile in elements. Every skilllevel gives you another element. Level 1: Earth Level 2: Wind Level 3: Water Level 4: Fire Level 5: Ghost Level 6: Dark Level 7: Holy Fairy's Soul Another skill, that consumes a soul. Fairy soul is a flat +50 Matk buff, which is a good option in party settings but for soloing stuff i would recommend: Golem's Soul Like Fairy's Soul, it consumes a soul. This skill is a buff, that gives 300 Def and 40 Mdef, which makes you a total tank paired with Kaahi. Shadow Soul This is an option, if you won't hit 193 ASPD in any other way. It gives +3 ASPD at lvl 5 and +20 Crit, so RK and GX will like you for it. Kaute Like every Magic Class does, SR shreds through SP, this is a nice way to recover it, but it's not perfect. You give up 5 souls and 20% HP for 20% SP. In the end, your skills should look like this: Spoiler (made with divine pride's skilltree) Gear, and the beginning of seeing your wallet cry: Spoiler Headgear (Top): Spoiler Celine Ribbon [1]: with Spell or ASPD enchant. Nothing is better for Magic Classes (except in some weird Bio5 lvl 10 enchant cases) Racing Cap (Soul Reaper) [1]: ONLY with lvl 3 Soul Reaper enchant. This might be better at the moment, but this could change when Automatic Armor and Patent Spirit Plumb are ingame Cards: Multielemental: Weakened Fenrir, Vesper (MVP) , Fenrir (MVP), Pharaoh (MVP) Neutral: Plaga Earth: Lichtern Yellow Wind: Tikbalang Water: Lichtern Blue Fire: Lichtern Red Ghost: Lichtern Green Holy: Greater Sanare Headgear (Mid): Spoiler Victorious Wing Ear [1]: With 10 Matk & 3% Matk enchant. This is the Dmg Option. Poring Sunglasses [1]: If you want to farm some Stuff, it's not bad to have some extra dropchance. Cards: Same Options as above Headgear (Bot): Spoiler CD in Mouth: 5% increased Dmg by all elements Delicious Lollipop: +1 ASPD Happy Balloon: Dropchance increase Armor: Spoiler Int Soutane [1]: with Int Blessing. This is the best option at the moment, until Automatic Armor comes to us. Illusion Armor B [1]: with 2x Magic enchant. It's the cheaper decision, but does less damage. Automatic Armor B [1]: Most likely the enchants will be: 2x Automatic Module (Espa): 25% more damage dealt by Espa for each enchant Automatic Modification Module (Magic Power): +75 Matk, +10% Matk Cards: Defensive: Angelring, Ghosring, Bathory Multielemental: Greater Red Pepper (MVP), Nightmare Amon Ra (MVP), Professor Celia (MVP), Realized Amdarais (MVP), Red Pepper (MVP) Water: Awakened Ktullanux (MVP) Ghost: Naght Sieger (MVP) Weapon: Spoiler Greed Wand [1]: 17.2 Sin Weapon. It has more Matk and 25% Espa damage increase (Spirit Plumb has 15%). This is the best weapon at the moment. Spirit Plumb [1]: Easy to get, easy to enchant, usable at lvl 100, get it to +14 and you're good (Patent Version when), enchantable Cards: Multielemental: Immortal Wind Ghost, Mutatet White Knight, Big Ben (only if you don't have 100% pierce on Formless or Bosses, with Neo Punk card in Shield), Time Holder (MVP) Neutral: Magic Poisoned Plaga Wind: Arch Plasma (need +14 Weapon for full bonus) Water: Blue Pitaya (need +14 Weapon for full bonus) Fire: Red Pitaya (need +14 Weapon for full bonus) Ghost: Spectrum Plasma (need +14 Weapon for full bonus) Holy: Holy Frus (need +14 Weapon for full bonus) Shield: Spoiler Purified Knight Shield [1]: with boss mdef enchant (you'll need around 42% - 60% Depending on your Class Shadow Gear Enchants) Cards: Neo Punk (only with Big Ben card in weapon), Mutated Khalitzburg Knight, Bijou (MVP), Defense Cards Garment: Spoiler Temporal Int Manteau [1]: with 6% Matk enchant, no questions asked Cards: Multielement: Marsh Arclouse Neutral: Purple Pitaya, Himmelmez's Phantom (MVP) Earth: Arc Elder, Corrupted Spider Queen (MVP) Wind: Deep Sea Phen, Gioia (MVP) Water: Faceworm Larva, Corrupted Spider Queen (MVP) Fire: Nightmare Ancient Mummy, Deep Sea Witch (MVP) Dark: Deep Sea Witch (MVP) Ghost: Gioia (MVP) Holy: Yellow Pitaya, Himmelmez's Phantom (MVP) Shoes: Spoiler Temporal Dex Boots [1]: Runaway Magic and either ASPD or Spell, not questions asked Angel Poring Boots [1]: ONLY when +12 and with Poring Sunglasses + Celine Ribbon + Celine Brooch. This is, again, is a farming option if you want an additional 5% drop increase. Cards: Multielemental: Nightmare Verit, Fallen Bishop Hibraim (MVP) Neutral: Dio Anemos Earth: Dio Anemos, Verporte Wind: Ordre Water: Ordre, Boiling Marc Fire: Geffen Thief Holy: Boiling Marc, Geffen Thief, Shining Teddy Bear (MVP) Accessory: Spoiler Celine's Brooch [1]: This is a must-have. (Except you're playing with Racing Cap) King Schmidt's Divine Power Insignia [1]: With Divine Power enchant, everything else is not that important, but godly would be Spell with Int Grace Magic Ring [1]: if you dont have a KSDPI, this is the next best option Cards: Neutral: Dwigh Earth: Mavka Wind: Elvira Water: Headless Mule Fire: Mavka Ghost: Elvira Shadow: Dwigh Holy: Headless Mule Shadow Equipment: Spoiler First, you use every Costume Stone that has a name corresponding to Soul Reaper or Soul Linker. Taekwon Shadow Weapon + Taekwon Shadow Shield: +10, either enchant them with +1 ASPD, 3% Matk or Boss Mdef Pierce Soul Reaper Shadow Armor + Soul Reaper Shadow Shoes: Armor +10, Shoes at least +7, rest is same as for Taekwon Shadows Almighty Shadow Earring + Almighty Shadow Pendant: +10, either enchant them with +1 ASPD or 3% Matk You want in Total: Instacast (Easy) 193 ASPD 100% Boss Mdef Pierce (This might be only possible with Vesper Card) Additional Information: Spoiler "Useless" Skills Spoiler There are some skills, which in theory look nice from what they're doing, but they were made pre-renewal so they don't work properly above lvl 99. Affected are: Eska Eswoo Eske Kaite - It's good in pvp (imagine playing pvp) but on monsters over lvl 99, it will NOT reflect Magic, instead, it will prevent you from being healed and buffed. You also take more damage than usual. SR Passive: Spoiler Dispel Immunity For some reason I still don't understand SR has a Dispel immunity. So you don't need to worry ever losing your buffs except to them running out or dying. SR PvP: Spoiler If you're at this point, I'm questioning your sanity. SR is in my opinion a pure PvE class, due to Espa and Eshwoo not working in PvP. There is still Curse Explosion, which works in PvP, but the design behind this skill just doesn't look good enough to compare to a GX or Sura a this point. And tbh, when you want to play a magic class in PvP, go for every other magic class (NOT SN) and you're better off than with SR. Class Soul Link: Spoiler Soul Linker has some Skills, that buff a specific class in a specific way. There are one for every class, except Ninja, Gunslinger and Doram Classes. I will list here the most useful ones: Rogue Spirit Mostly because of Pit Tanking. If a Shadow Chaser is buffed with this, it's transformed to one of the best, if not even the best, Tanks in the entire game. This is, because Rogue Spirit gives Dispel immunity. So Rogue's can stack Buffs like Guard, Reject Sword and whatsoever. Bard and Dancer Spirit This Buff is only useful, if your Party only has one type of performer. Its effect is, that either the bard or dancer gets the other classes songs unlocked, but only if they have their Song skilled to lvl 10 The skills unlocked are like this: Perfect Tablature with Focus Ballet Impressive Riff with Slow Grace Magic Strings with Lady Luck Song of Lutie with Gypsy's Kiss and the other way around. Sephylon 2 Posted April 29, 2020 Just an addition to garment cards; Arc Elder is the earth version of the nightmare ancient mummy, deep sea phen is the wind, faceworm larva is the water, purple pitaya is the neutral, yellow pitaya is the holy and deep sea witch is the fire/dark mvp garment card. There is currently no garment card for ghost =/. For shoes theres also the gmt cards and one or two of the 17.2 cards, tho nightmare verit just saves you the hassle imo.
