Love 32 Posted February 23, 2023 (edited) Water Spraying Doram Guide I'm Iridium and I'm a Doram from Filthy Casuals. With the release of Spirit Handler, the role of Dorams has shifted to being a full support and primary healer. Your main healing skill, Water Spraying, only scales with the CRT stat and not with other stats, H. Plus, or %heal. Because of that, you hit your max output very easily. Similarly, your main buff skills, Marine/Sandy Festival of Kisul, are large AoE flat trait buffs and also don’t scale with anything. This makes playing Spirit Handler a very beginner friendly class to gear to start joining Purgatory and Guardian Angel parties. The skill also does not require any ACD to spam. As you progress in gear, you can start transitioning to more of an off-tank role (please see my other guide) or you can optimize your SP management for better overall healing uptime. I don’t recommend taking this build to Fortessa Dungeons unless you have someone else who can be the main tank in the party. There’s no one single build. I will provide examples in this guide, but as long as you are able to hit certain thresholds you can put together gear based on your budget. These are the things I would prioritize when putting together gear: 100% VCT, either from gear or stats. I recommend from gear, since support builds are not as stretched thin as DPS classes and you can afford to get VCT in normally occupied spots such as weapon slots and costume stones. With VCT from gear, you are also not as reliant on consumables and buffs. 1s FCT for Water Spraying Something for SP management. This build is extremely SP hungry and parties expect a high Water Spraying uptime. This includes items that reduce SP cost and items that increase SP recovery. Even with these items, expect to bring SP consumables. Items to make you more tanky ACD is not needed for Water Spraying but will help with some of your Doram skills Gear Spoiler Upper Headgear: The Agony of Thanatos [1] Gives 10% VCT, 15% ACD, some HP Bought For 25 instance coins at the Instance Points NPC in @go exchange Palace Guard Cap Gives neutral resistance Palace Guard’s Cap Combination Scroll from Mysterious Combination Bundle Temporal Circlet (Summoner) When enchanted, gives a ton of HP as well as def and mdef Crafted by the OGH Challenge Mode NPCs at the left of @go exchange Can be enchanted at the same NPCs. Tuna Belly: heals %hp based on the target. Higher levels have longer cooldowns. I like lvl 3 as a happy medium between cooldown and heal. Good for high HP targets like IG and IQ. Tuna Party: gives a shield based on your HP. great for helping out squishy characters or for mobbing. Grooming: breaks yourself out of CC including frozen and stone Purring: party version of grooming Tasty Shrimp Party: gives healing over time to the party Arclouze Dash: gives a speed boost and a massive 40 agi, but has a cooldown so you can’t spam it Spirit Handler Skills: Kisul Water Spraying: your bread and butter. Heals 29k-31k based on whether you have Marine Festival active at 100 base CRT. The 85 base SP cost and relatively low CD of it will leave your SP pool nice and empty. Marine Festival of Kisul / Sandy Festival of Kisul: use them at the same time. They give 10 traits over a 17x17 area. Kisul Rampage: a skill that restores 4 AP/second over a 10 second channel over an AoE. Useful for helping top off your party members when there is some downtime, but be careful because you can’t move and you can’t use your healing skills when you’re using it. Blessing of Mystical Creatures: also called “Fake AP” in parties because it fills a party member’s AP for 10 seconds and then immediately drains it to 0. Only cast it when someone asks for it. Useful for classes who need to cast their big AP skills such as Cardinals, Arch Mages, and Wind Hawks. Costs 100 AP but you’ll have plenty from your other skills. Tips Spoiler This won’t be a full guide on the mechanics of purgatory and GA. You can read more from the wiki and you will learn as you play. https://wiki.shining-moon.com/index.php/Purgatory https://wiki.shining-moon.com/index.php/Guardian_Angel General Tips: If you get Bomb in a linear area, always run backwards If you get Darkness, minimize your movement and open a chat room so people can find you Use Boarding Halter to quickly navigate in big maps and during Bomb and Darkness Always spam Water Spray after Darkness to top everyone off For large instances, you can help your party clear faster by gathering mobs together e.g. Sara’s Memory, Airship Assault Instance Specific Tips Bakonawa: stay in the middle where the LP is Constellation Tower: spam heal during the second and third stages to counteract the map mechanics Sky Fortress: you can help shuttle your squishies by giving them tuna party and tanking mobs with stoop Edited February 7 by Love
