  1. ECA Announcement

The person who wins MvP from ECA gets personal announcment, so people won't miss it. But + for global announce!
  2. Enchanting costumes

    Basic steps for: ENCHANTING COSTUMES 1. Open refine UI by double-clicking Elunium or Oridecon (any type) and drag the costume in the UI window. 2. Confirm the enchanting by clicking on the costume in the UI window and then select Refine (read "Enchant costume") 3. Regular costumes (except Garment) can have 2 enchants. Here is the list of possible enchants - - PRICE: 1st enchant costs 1 million zeny, 2nd requires item called "Enchant Ore" If you are lucky with the first enchant, which costs 1 million zeny (e.g.: Top Costume 4800 HP+, or 45+ ATK/MATK Mid Costume), DO NOT GO FOR SECOND ENCHANT, as the RNG on those costumes are very, VERY random and once your costume have total of two enchants, you will not be able to get rid of the potencially crappy second enchant and you will end up with a fucked up costume. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If you are NOT lucky with the first enchant, feel free to try for a second enchant using Enchant Ore. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Only way to get costumes like double 4800 HP+ or double 45+atk or double +5 ASPD, is to get 2 different costumes - one with (for example) +45 atk on the FIRST enchant (WITHOUT second) and second with +45 ATK on SECOND enchant (which of course means that there is a first one too, but that can get replaced) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If you have both of those costumes ready, equip the one with the FIRST enchant and talk to the NPC "Costume Manager Venir" in @go office on the left side in first floor and choose "Transfer enchant", then select (for example the ATK one) "Mid Costume" and then select the name of the costume with the SECOND enchant - the costume with the first enchant you are currently wearing will disappear and the enchant on it will get transfered to the other costume and you will end up with double +45 ATK costume :-)) ***note 1: You can ONLY transfer first enchant to another costume with second enchant. There is NO OTHER WAY to merge the desired enchants. ***note 2: You have TWO costumes. One with 45 atk on 1st enchant and another one with 45 atk on second enchant. Only way to merge these enchants together, is to transfer the enchant from the costume with 1st enchant to the other costume with 2nd enchant = 2x +45 atk on one costume. ***Further explanation: You got a costume with a first enchant 45 atk - wait until you will get at least 45 or more atk on another costume with second enchant 45+ atk, then merge them together. When transfering the costume with first enchant, the cost is 5 Enchantment Certificates and the costume will disappear, but you will end up with the other costume being 2x 45 atk = 90 atk on one costume. You can THEN transfer both enchants to your desired costume, with the cost being 10 Enchantment Certificates (because its two enchants), so you're paying big money just for the looks. But then again - costumes are the real endgame :-)) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - for GARMENT costumes> enchanting price stays the same (1mil and enchant ore) and you can have 3 enchants on it, with the third being the most important one, as it rolls 1 of 10 possible elements including Holy, Ghost and Undead. The first two enchants are just a slight, but nice bonuses to your stats and resistances. * note 1: Garment element takes priority over armor element (meaning if you're wearing Bathory on your armor and a Holy Garment over it, your element is HOLY and NOT shadow :-)) *note 2: Do not underestimate enchant "Reduces Damage from Small size" - many people are playing as baby characters and those are considered Small :-)) *note 3: In game the description of the first enchant might be confusing. When rolled Crit Damage or Long Range damage, the description says just "Crit Damage -% or Long Range Damage -%" - It is NOT YOUR damage being reduced, but the damage TAKEN :-) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - All of those costumes including the garment, can be further enchanted with "Class Enchantment Stones" or "Common Enchantment stones" You can find the list of the stones here: https://www.shining-moon.com/w/index.php/Costume_Enchants Some classes such as Oboro, Kagerou, Soul Linker and Dorams do not have their Class stones, but you can use the Common ones which are mostly negligible with the exception of few stones like: Enhanced HP/SP Absorb stone (Upper), Lex Aeterna or Double Attack stone (Mid) and Critical stone (20% crit damage) or Fixed Cast Time stone (-0.5 seconds fixed cast) critical and fixed stones are for garment costumes *note 1: getting "Class" enchantment stones obtainable from Bio5 (Nightmare Biolab) monsters can be rather problematic - the mobs there are Boss protocol and have Worldboss stats = You deal 50% less damage to them and they deal 50% less damage to you.The stones drop on 0.8% chance and it takes a while to kill them If you're going without a party [[party strongly recommended - ideally with an AB and long ranged DPS, but its manageable with any char really, it just can get expensive on consumables and it may not pay off when you're going alone]] * note 2: getting "Common" enchantment stones can be pretty easy - just wait till the MvP Ladder resets with MvPs like Pharaoh, GTB, Orc Hero or Dracula - the drop rate is 8% per wave. * note 3: You can also get badges from MvP Ladder (you can find the MvP Ladder npc in Fortessa or @go 0). They have really nice bonuses and they just need to be in your inventory. You need to do the Ladder constantly to extend their Expiration date, otherwise it will just expire and it will no longer have the effect. (explanation is also in the description of the badge) Few examples: You have 3% chance per wave to obtain the badge. The badge you will obtain is totally random and you will not drop any other after recieving one, however it can be exchanged at the MvP Ladder NPC with the cost being 2 500 000 zeny and again, random. *note 4: There is also one, recently discovered exception regarding "Class" stones - shown below ^ This and only this combo can be used on ANY class and is pretty useful on numerous builds. -15% After Cast Delay! Yay \o/ Thanks for reading my guide - if you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask here on forums and I will respond ASAP :-)
  3. Refining/Upgrading on SMRO

REFINING - for WEAPON you can go up to +8 with a "Safe Ticket" - after that use HD Oridecons to +9. If you feel like you have enough Limited Enriched Oridecons, use those straight to +10 (I recommend going with HDs first, since in a case u end up under +8 with HDs, getting a ticket again is not as expensive as getting bunch of Limiteds, so save up those for +9s) same goes for ARMOR but with Eluniums - WEAPON refining past +10 even lv.4 one is easy to refine with HD Bradiums (not everytime, so don't give up if you're not lucky enough with first try) straight to +15, If you have a bunch and you're feeling lucky, you can try for +16 (not recommended - from personal experience you will most likely end up going down and you might not be lucky enough to get it to +15 again, as HD Bradiums are not cheap to spam) If you want to be safe, go just for +14 and then use Limited High Density Bradiums all the way up.(upraveno) with those you'll be getting your weapon up to +20. Keep in mind that those are sold very rarely and are not cheap. - ARMOR one is a bit more expensive, as you'll have troubles getting your armor over +12 with HD Carniums (from personal experience - u might have troubles even getting it to +12, so don't even bother trying to get past that even if you have 100 of them - better keep them for another armor or sell them for quick zeny.) After +12 you want to use Limited High Density Carnium, which is at the moment the most rare and expensive ore we have...with those you can get your armor up to +20 - very slowly and painfully. DO NOT REFINE ARMORS PAST +12 UNLESS YOU GET BONUSES FROM IT! ALWAYS USE NPCs for refining with HD ores (Not refine UIs!!!) and always MAKE SURE you have enough ZENY - - - There are no NPCs for refining with Limiteds so once you are done with HDs, use refine UI) HD Oridecon: 1-2m HD Elunium 1.5-3m Limited Enriched Oridecon: 8-12m Limited Enriched Elunium: 10-12m HD Bradium: 5-8m HD Carnium: 7-9m Limited High Density Bradium: 30-35m Limited High Density Carnium: 35-50m *note: ori/elu -> normal, breaks old ori/old elu -> slightly better chance for refine, breaks hd ori/hd elu-> doesn' break but downgrades limited ori/elu -> doesn't break neither downgrades bradium/carnium -> normal, breaks hd bradium/carnium -> doesn' break but downgrades limited hd bradium/carnium -> doesn't break neither downgrades - and just a note for SHADOW GEAR: to +4 use regular Elunium or Oridecon dropped from monsters - you can not use tickets for those and THERE IS NO SAFE WAY to get them to +7. Your best bet is to get Old Enriched Elunium/Oridecon (yes Old, not Limited) and get them from +4 to +7. Only use those for rare shadow gears that are rare or hard to get (ie from World Boss) For easily obtainable shadow gears like Reload, Infinity or Malevolent shadow set, use regular ores straight to +7 If your shadow gear combo requires the set to be +15 (for example: Infinity Shadow Earring +7 and Infinity Shadow Pendant +8), once your shadow gear is at +7, you´re allowed to use either Limited Enriched Elunium/Oridecon or Blacksmith's Blessing
